Games like last night are such a tease. AD is still out of shape but looks so good at times. He's such a unique player, one this team has never really had. It sucks that his body is so fragile. A healthy career of Anthony Davis is a quite possibly a top 20 player of all time.
Even that healthy AD career is not enough in a Luka trade and i'll never forgive Nico. But sometimes if you squint really really hard you can see the vision of a healthy AD with Kyrie, P.J., Lively, Klay, Gafford, Naji, Max. This team had a chance last year had Kyrie not gotten hurt.
Now you add Flagg. This team could be decent with Kyrie. No reason to rush an AD trade with the trade deadline 2 months away. If we can add Kyrie and AD stays healthy.... Well Feb 5th could be a franchise altering day. Its not crazy to think a contending team could see him as the piece to push them to a championship. 4 or 5 picks may not be a crazy thought after all.
