Isaac also brought up David Griffin, who I haven't heard much about recently.

Does anyone like that idea?

I like the David Griffin idea.  But there are others to consider as well.  The new GM is one of the most important decisions the Mavs will be making in...20 years, or more.  I would like to see them get it right...for a change.  The New GM will have a real mess to clear up.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of anybody that is already associated with the Mavs being considered as GM.  It should be a someone who has a clear path forward and the fortitude to see it through.

Griffin, Myers,...,..., well...any other qualified person who lives 2 states away.  Just nobody who has been involved in this dumpster fire to date.  Lindsey?...a fairly safe choice, but...I don't think so.
