My feet have been planted in the Kidd isn't even a good coach camp for a long while now. I was bummed out about his extension and further entrenching him in the organization would take away all the hope that firing Nico generated. Cuban having a say in the next GM or regaining some of those responsibilities is really worrisome as well. Let's not forget all the wheel spinning post-2011, the sexual misconduct that run amuck under his "watchful eye", the messy breakups with Donnie/Rick, who he tapped as their replacements, and all the basketball operation miscues along the way.

Of the trio that have ties to the Mavericks that are being floated, I guess Lindsay would be the best choice, but I hope they go further outside of their comfort zone. And speaking of that, I have a bad feeling about Masai, but that's 100% gut.
