Kidd has no business being the GM. Neither do Finley / Ricardi. The Mavs FO has not been a stronghold over the last years. 

Lowe put it bluntly. You simply can not promote anyone from that groud who just let the worst trade in all of professional sports happen right before their faces. He is 1000000% right on this.

They need external help & a fresh start. I thought the Bob Myers rumor was great. That’s exactly the type of proven winner we need.

This is why I'm team Lindsey. I've been pushing back against the trend of assuming everything good was his doing and everything bad wasn't, and I still struggle with that logic, but he seems to have been a good influence in DET, and I saw this tweet from Andy Bailey the other day about his time in Utah:

So, while I don't think there's really definitive PROOF that he's great, the feeling that he's had a positive influence on his front offices seems to follow him from fan base to fan base and not just be a Mavs fan phenomenon.
