Defending Anthony Davis at this point comes off as tone-deaf. 

It's tone deaf to object to BS claims and general dog-piling against AD (or another Mav) that has no purpose other than hating? Gimme a break. 

I'm not AD's biggest defender by a long shot. I'm not a fan of the trade that brought him here, and not in favor of having AD stay on this team (but he's a Mav, and it's certainty not his doing that made him a Mav). I was the one who raised the idea early in the summer that HE is the one who needs to be traded, rather than making him the focus and trading the rest of the team. And if AD messes up, you never see me excusing him.

But I will always tend to push back on BS level gripes and general ongoing routine haterism against a Mav. And against people whose raison d'etre in this forum is to spread that level of poo in one thread after another.
