I prefer the potential of winning any other way, yes, even if it’s just potential or theoretical, and again, I don’t think he’ll ever win a championship. Period. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat the crow, like I said.
But…despite having said the above, I don’t think it’s either/or. I don’t think not liking the way. This team is put together is the same thing as declaring that there’s nothing wrong with Luka’s game, or a team built around it.
We witnessed a guy turning this franchise around, leading us to multipe deep playoff runs, picking up 5 or 6 all nba season awards in row all before turning 26. Your posts are extremely ignorant right now. It’s not Luka‘s fault that this franchise collapsed in an all time remarkable fashion from being a finals team to whatever their horrendous record has been since the trade.
It’s GREAT that there is no safety net called Dirk or Luka anymore. We already have months of actual horrendous results but I guess we‘ll need at least another season for even the last ones to understand that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Luka wasnt perfect by any means but the results at a young age are undeniable.
This is all just the start. A year from now they wont even have control of their picks anymore at that point your chances of lucking into another Luka/Dirk will drastically go down further.
Dooms day times are ahead of this franchise and they have nobody but themselves to blame.
