If you simply reversed the trade now, no he wouldn't get anywhere near 30 mpg -- you'd end up with QG sitting rather than CM, because they have better players for all their minutes. Flagg is getting 30+ that went elsewhere last season, and leftovers (if any) will go to Christie, if he is the player we hope he can be.
Don't get me wrong. I wish they didn't have Martin either. That much salary is such a huge waste for what will be a lightly played 3rd stringer.
But QG is not special. He was the very same player in PHI that he was in DAL (only with more touches and a green light to jack up shots): an okay offensive player with mediocre defense (incredibly overrated by fans in that department). He thinks he's special and is owed a primary role in the lineup, with a salary to match, which is why he keeps quickly wearing out his welcome everywhere he goes.
