Can we stop pretending that the Mavs did not badly lose the Martin trade? Grimes on the QO would be a perfect fit on this team. He´d get his 30 MPG to earn a contract. Mavs would get the needed offensive contributions from the guard position with no financial obligations. And it´s not out of the question they could even have agreed to an extension.
