I'm just not sure I see how the Mavericks are going to force other teams to adjust to what they're doing (at least not yet).

Just you wait. Elbow post ups and 15 seconds of backing down only to pass out of the post up into a contested mid range jumper is coming your way!

Teams will be dominated by our 43% mid range snipers. 

In actuality (and in a more serious tone), the Mavs will force other teams to match them solely because of the threat of the offensive rebound. AD, Lively, and Gafford all rank within the top OREB in the league. 

Sure the Mavs might miss some easy shots, but if you are not big enough, there will be a putback and an even easier dunk. That alone will force teams to match the Mavs size, and they better have enough skilled size to threaten AD/Gafford/Lively or else they are going to be shut down pretty easily by their defense. 

Mavs have a huge weakpoint against large playmakers in my eyes. Jokic will be their kryptonite. Not only does he have the size but the skill to just punish the Mavs everywhere. Further guys like Luka, SGA, and even Cade are big enough and offensively skilled enough to play our big guys off the floor.
