Hardy+Christie+OMax makes way more sense for the Warriors than just PJ.

That deal solves the Mavs roster issue and also adds a relatively capable guard. It also keeps their own costs low in terms of assets sent since White is going to be a UFA.

Hardy+Naji+Omax and you got a deal.

I don’t want to give up Christie for a rental. He’s show enough potential to be the future SG for the Mavs. Plus defender and good shooter on decent volume. Can playmake a bit and just turned 22. He may never reach his full potential, but I’m not dealing him for Coby White, who most likely won’t be a Mav for more than a year.

I think Naji is more of a fit anyway for the way the Warriors want to play and maybe more of a win-now player from their POV. Of course, I’d rather send Martin than Naji but in the end I’d be fine if a player like Naji is what it took.
