Agree. Such a move would be very difficult. I also think way too much is given into the statements made. I think it is more about LeBron dragging attention to himself and using a bit of leverage for the team to improve. But, I don't think he has much leverage left. If he would have, he would get a new 1+1 deal.
Any potential move would be instigated by LeBron. He would pick a team that he would like to go to and that could match the salary without gutting the team. Looking around the league, Mavs actually do make for most realistic option. They have a bunch of contracts and since no great players would be going to LA, they do have picks to compensate. Miami would also likely be able to pull it off, but Wiggins, Rozier and Robinson is a real meh package and it would have to be heavily compensated with picks or some additional young players.
