You guys actually think a team would be doing LA a favor to get them out of LeBron expiring deal, so that they would pay a pick and take back trash contracts? Lakers don't need or want to trade LeBron and it will only happen if it will be a win-win-win deal. LeBron going to where he would want, that team able to stay competitive and Lakers getting a fair compensation.

The real question is: while many teams still probably day dream about seeing LeBron run the court in their uniform, how many of them would be be willing to part with the kind of players attached to the salaries it would take to get it done? Obviously, a 7-for-1 isn't gonna happen, and in any 2 or 3-for-1 scenario, some very good players are probably headed to LA. I doubt it's a worthwhile endeavor for anyone involved, at the end of the day.
