We need to get guys that are younger who have upside to develop alongside Cooper. AD, Kyrie, and Klay all have a short window of opportunity. You play them another season or 2 and then you got to find a home to send them somewhere so they can ride off into the sunset. 3 years from now AD will be on crutches and you will wish you had Gafford unless you get a pick and add another backup big in this draft.
Lively needs to be greatly encouraged to shoot the 3 more. I have seen him do it.
We should add a rookie big if this draft class lets us get a few picks. We need a spare PG picked first but if Gafford being traded happens you need something bigger like 7'0 Plus 250 Plus and can bang. Amari the ex Kentucky center prospect gets assists often enough I like that. The other Nembhard kid looks good.
UDFA's could offer us a chance to find a PG like Shulga and maybe a C that falls. Rather resign Exum than overpay Sexton and get stuck with his no D game. There is a reason he is jumping around so much.
