I actually could see Sexton in this Mavs lineup.

You won't get everything you need in a PG with what's available, but Sexton really helps on the perimeter. He won't be your best defender for sure, but I'm not sure that's the priority for the Mavs at that position. He can get his own shot, move the ball around, and won't need to be a starter once Kyrie is back.

Would be a good get for the Mavs. He's in the same boat as Gafford, likely wanting to get an extension done. The Mavs could go the 1-year rental route if they wanted, but I think he can coexist with Kyrie and/or be a Jet type 6th man here 'long-term'. 

If the Mavs are dead set on keeping Gafford, even if Gafford+Hardy is a near perfect salary match, I could see something like Martin+Hardy+Powell being part of the framework for a deal.

I still believe Martin was acquired at the TDL just to be traded this summer. Grimes didn't help in that regard.
