FA: Steven Adams Signs 3yr/ 39mil Extension and Remains with Houston

Similar to what Gafford should expect?

Adams is only 31.  Why does it feel like he should be 40?  I think Gafford is the better player though.   Probably best suited for bench roles.   I would think Gafford would probably look for 3-4 million more.   Although, maybe he takes the security by extending earlier to get 50 million guaranteed.   He could certainly get more if he waited, but there is always a risk.
