So you think in a couple of months the Mavs went from signing him to an extension to trying to unload him?  As fans we need to remember that franchises aren't Ninja chopped and microwaved.  I simply think it's impossible for that to happen unless he slept with someone's wife.

I think it's possible they look to move someone they were previously happy with given the surprise rookie contract they're about to have on the books. Moving Hardy (if dumped and replaced with a minimum contract) would cut half of the money they're taking on by picking 1st. Moving Martin would cut all of it.
