2025 draft thread: THE MAVS SELECT COOPER FLAGG

In the strengths, I was surprised to see Vecenie rave about his creation ability.  First time he was asked to do this and Veceine said the results were ridiculous.  Called one of the varied offensive weapons he has seen in college basketball.   Said the creation revelastion is why he is one of the best prospects in over two decades.  

He then goes into that one of his best offensive skills is his passing ability.   This was a really fun section to read about his passing.

I see this in the highlights and think his creation was actually held back by Duke's system.  He runs the PnR just fine and can create for others on the move.  Heck, they put the ball in his hands when he played with all those NBA guys on the USA select team.  I don't have real worries about creation once Kyrie is back.  Which means, I'm less about a pure PG and more about a 3 and D player at the guard position in terms of what we need to add.   I think more of a Caruso or White time and less of a 'get a bucket' type.
