Most of the guys who have a lot of money obtained it by being super-involved in their own businesses. Understanding all the moving parts, pushing buttons and pulling levers.
Why should it be any different with their newest business?
The issue isn’t whether the owner is involved in making decisions or not. It’s about whether he makes good decisions. Whether he learns the business well. Whether he can learn from his own mistakes, and the mistakes of others.
