Cliff Notes : Flagg isn't getting traded, and Kidd, I'm thinking, is unlikely to interview with Knicks.

No surprises that the Mavs would deny the request, but I think it all comes down to Kidd. What happens if he goes to Nico and asks for permission to be allowed? No one wants a disgruntled coach on their hands. The whole point of NY leaking their interest in Kidd is probably to make this happen.
