People in Kevin Durant’s camp are eyeing San Antonio as a landing spot, per @Gambo987

I really don't understand why SA would do this. Durant is very old and will likely start to decline soon. Far from even Fox timeline, who is 29, let alone Wemby. I also don't think he makes SA an instant contender, even though the #2 pick could help. They would have to give up at least one good young player. Either a combination of Barnes/Keldon/Sochan or Vassel/Keldon or Barnes. Durant value will only decline in time. I would be way more patient, if I am SA (the only exception would be Giannis, if available and wants to resign). Basically keep the current roster other than perhaps play around the edges, add the #2 pick and play the season with the goal to make the playoffs. See what you have and go for the big fish in 2026.
