The question for me, which hasn't been answered, is what will he be allowed to do?
If he isn't fired, then it's very hard to believe that everything is just as it was a few months ago. His every move should be scrutinized during this off-season. The owners have a huge investment in Dallas. Huge. I have hard time believing they just allow him to trade and draft with no oversight. Not now.
The only way an investor recovers losses, which I'm guessing were substantial, is to make sure it doesn't repeat itself. They caught a break with Cooper Flagg. But if they're not firing Nico, they better damn well have a lot more oversight. They could still screw this up, but I seriously doubt this a solo operation anymore.
