 Obviously, the team is thin at PG, but re-signing a healthy Exum and seeing if BWill can continue developing while waiting on Kyrie's return might be enough. 

Agree with all you said, but this will almost certainly not be enough.  It's also why the pet cat idea of Ball is bothersome, as even with him in the mix, that's probably not enough.  I loved Ball before his nightmare injury, but he seems a lot more like a luxury experiment rather than someone you'd need to depend on.  And even if Exum/Ball could stay healthy and with BWill, I'm not sure they'd keep you competitive and, foolish or not, the organization is going to want to be competitive as Nico is certainly on the hot seat.  It's a tricky situation given our cap/asset situation.
