I think there is a significant chance that the wheels come off quickly (Christmas) anyways and that we‘ll see Dumont give in to the pressure and finally fire Harrison once the results continue to be what they were after the Kyrie-injury (which I expect). Without Kyrie AND Luka you are looking at a team with potentially the worst guard play in the entire league. After years of having Luka + Kyrie/Brunson as a stable elite presence at the ballhandling spot the floor of this team has decreased drastically.
The roster may be loaded at plenty of other positions but that barely matters if you constantly struggle to run basic plays.
I agree...the PG position is going to be a big problem and after listening to Legler, it sounds like Kyrie's expected return time is extremely optimistic, almost to a point of being unrealistic.
Gaff has to be moved for an experienced playmaking PG, and BWill will need to take his game to another level for us to be anywhere near competitive in the west.
Kyrie's and AD's injuries at their ages, along with the luck of winning the Flagg sweepstakes, suggests to me that Nico should make a 180 degree turn on the direction this team heads moving forward.
