Yep. Hardy has no value at the moment.  Someone might take him for free. I’d probably just keep him and see if he can be rehabilitated.  He’s a project who’s actually gotten much worse from his rookie season.  I’m afraid that maybe the Mavs added too much to his developmental plate. Maybe he’s just a spot up shooter who can occasionally attack the basket and not a guy you train to set up other players.

I don't think he has any value, unfortunately.   A chance of scenery will probably be good for him.   I think he would have been moved at the trade deadline if they could have gotten anything for him.  I think Kidd was ready to move on.

One thing I want to note, is the Mavs basically have good players on good contracts.  Even the players who may have a questionable contract is not terrible.   I hope they continue this and don't take a terrible contract.  Having good players on solid deals should be a real positive...even if some of these players are only role players.
