I like Black but if they hope to make the playoffs I think they target a veteran who knows how to read the game. Holiday, Smart, Ball, Tyus Jones, McConnell. Haven’t heard Brogdon mentioned much. After seeing Flagg initiate in that scrimmage video I wonder if he might get a decent amount of time on the ball until Kyrie gets back. I still like Bruce Brown but starting PG is probably a stretch. I highly doubt they bring in another young player.
Simmons, Coby White, and Sexton feel like expensive scoring guards who don’t read the game well defensively. The effort may be there but maybe not the BB IQ. It’s like Kuminga. It’s reported GSW is targeting a playmaking wing defender which is quite an indictment of Kuminga’s game.
