I keep seeing this posted, and I don't know where it comes from ...

But Edwards is not now, nor has he ever been, nor is he set up to be, a member of the Mavs 15-man roster. (Nor do I see any good reason to think they will sign him, since his position is one that is absolutely overloaded with signed players already.)

I forgot that Edward’s 2-way eligibility has expired when I posted that, but regardless I believe the reasons why you keep seeing it posted is because Edward’s was a small bright spot in the 2nd half of the season. He was shown to be more playable than OMax at times.


But the logistics of keeping him might just be too great. Hopefully he can stick with the Legends.
