Even if this was rigged and Nico knew about it, not a chance in hell Nico should get any credit for it whatsoever. One of the major issues I have is that Mavs fans completely forgive Nico, and welcome him to remain at the helm making critical decisions for the teams future. The guy who says he only cares about the next 3 years, and oh well to whatever happens after that. I still have zero certainty that Flagg is definitely even gonna play a single minute in a Mavs jersey because Nico is still the one making decisions. In fact when you watch how nonchalent Flagg's reaction was to Dallas getting pick 1, I think it's because he knows that if he's going to a team with a FO that will trade a 25 year old top 5 NBA player at the drop of a hat, why should he feel comfortable coming to this team.
