I believe he was in the nba offfices for a while. The pelicans ownership is a mess though. I am not sure New Orleans should even have a team. I don’t think the owners a very rich either, I don’t believe. I know one thing who would ever hire some of their training staff? Now that would be a screwed up organization. Ha ha
Well yeah, it ended after he broke up the team, ala Mark Cuban. He traded Chauncey Billups who was the heartbeat of that team, for a washed Allen Iverson. He let Ben Wallace, and Rip Hamilton leave for Cleveland and Chicago respectively. Rasheed Wallace went to the Knicks, then Boston. So what's there to expect? He had a run of six straight ECF's which hadn't been done since the Celtics in the 60's. They actually had a chance to win back to back when they lost to the Spurs in 05 in 7 games. But I digress that was a long time ago. He may not be up to the task at 61 years old, but we'll see.
