They are throwing the farm at KD this offseason. Marshall has played himself into a very good piece for such a trade. Same with Gafford. PJ thrown in there too.

Give it 2 years and then restart when we have zero picks. Because Nico is a great GM.

I think that will be the package as well as a pick or two.   Marshall has played well this year.  Just not sure he will be the best use with the team I envision.   But he has really stepped up.   PJ and Gafford are both good players with short contracts.   Throw in matching salary like Jaden and Powell.  The pick(s) allows PHX to get a young asset.   It is not a great package for PHX, but could be competitive.    I am not sure if this team is toxic to other players though.   

KD to the Mavs probably wouldnt' work out, but lets not think this team has any future next year as is.  Especially with Kyrie out for most of the year.   Not sure you can put together a team that is better than the current top 7, I don't think.  Heck, Portland and San Antonio may be more competitve next year.
