Shams said Mavs will convert Brandon Williams to a standard contract later in the week.  It is too bad he was not active the last week.    I really wanted to get a look at him in important games to end the year.    Most of the games he played in the team was so depleted that it was hard to see if his play was transferrable when the team was mostly healthy.

Williams deserves it truthfully. He's looked like an actual NBA player this year. I'd rather he have 30+ minutes a night than Dinwiddie at this point.
