A low volume, low 30s percent shooter is completely useless. The only reason you would have AD out there is to help spread the floor, but nobody is going to guard him when he is that bad (why should they?). If this team ever gets healthy and plays two centers, defenses are going to pack the paint. Its going to be very difficult for perimeter players who thrive on getting into the paint.
