2025 draft thread: THE MAVS SELECT COOPER FLAGG

Put me down as a tentative big fan of Will Riley from Illinois. Currently slated to go 34th to Detroit , but he is a big SG/SF type. He’s 6’8  big dude with fluid handles and can shoot.

If he’s around near the end of the first round I’d love to get a flyer on him.

There were three guys who looked like they should come back to school when I did a quick glance.  Especially with NIL.   You could add Jase Richardson to that as well, but with his recent hot play he may come out.

The hree was Riley, Carter Bryant from Arizona, and Isaiah Evans from Duke.   All were 5 star recruits.   This draft looks sort of eh to me in the 20's, but I don't know many of them yet.  So all could go in the 20's if they come out.   They could go higher if they finish the year good.   

Riley has been getting the most playing time.   He is really skinny but at his height and skill there is something there.   Carter Bryant looks the part.  Evans is interesting.  He wasn't gettting a lot of playing time.  He is getting more lately and makes Jaden Hardy blush with his shot attempts he gets up.   He is also 6'8 but even skinnier than Riley.
