Is KD going to want to come here now with Kyrie out most of next season?  KD will be 37.  He does not have time to wait.

Oh I think absolutely. They decided to team up together when KD was going to be out a minimum a year dealing with his achilles rehab. 

I can see a similar scenario here. Except instead of Kyrie carrying the Nets without KD for a year, KD will work with AD to keep the Mavs afloat.
