That’s not the path that the front office is choosing. They think they can compete with the Thunder, Cavs and Celtics of the world with how this roster is currently built and then adding to it in the roster building windows.
I think they’re wrong but I hope we get to see them at full strength to find out.
Do you have any faith in this current management when they fumbled a 25 year old top 3 player, coming off a finals run, and had not demanded a trade and was happy year?
Sure nothing is as good as it seems when things look great and vice versa, but for me the trust is irrevocably lost with Nico. That’s why I keep saying the first step towards healing is moving on from Nico. Thinking more, I don’t even want him reporting to a Lindsey type. Just move on from him.
The next step would be an admission by the owner that he trusted Nico and doesn’t know much about hoops, but that would be a bit too much from an arrogant billionaire many times over.
