Game 60 Dirkie Thread: Moses Brown!!!
#7

I will say, this was a sorry performance for a team with championship aspirations. Yes they are injured. Yes they are relying on their 15th guys and 10 day contracts. I get all of that. Still...  71 points through 3 quarters just doesn't cut it offensively. Keeping this a close game against a team like Charlotte the entire game is embarrassing. That is the same team that let each team before the Mavs score like 150 in each game.

Further, I am so ready to move on from Naji man. Dude cannot shoot it for his life. At least DJJ actually took the wide open 3 when he was given the chance, Naji just stumbles into the paint and passes up the wide open shot. Then in the 2nd half it was obvious the coaching staff made it a point to make Naji shoot those, and he bricked every single one. He's a solid defender. I love his floater game. He can make some good passes. But his horrific outside game paired with his tendency for boneheaded mistakes has me SO ready to move on. I honestly wish he made more money so he could be a better contract for the KD trade so we wouldn't have to give up actual good players.

I'm glad we got the win. Moses had a great game. Kyrie's 2nd half was incredible. Exum was consistently great. Onto the next one.

We had Kyrie, Klay, Christie, Marshall, and Exum. That's five of our top ten guys, and three of them are bench players.

I don't know why you and so many others are so hard on Marshall. He has playmaking ability from a frontcourt position. No he isn't elite at it, but he's good. I'm kind of surprised at the grousing about his defense - I know he isn't DJJ, but defense was supposed to be part of his calling card.
