I think they had the team around Luka to do it. Then the Cavs happened. I don’t think the Mavs beat them with a healthy Luka. We already know they weren’t close to the Celtics. This new version of the Mavs may or may not be competitive either. I hope we get the chance to see.
This trade is already a failure, you can't trade Luka Doncic to your buddy for that weak package.
The Cavs? We don't even know if they will play Finals... Who cares about the Cavs.
Mavs were a great PO teams with a juggernaut player, every team were scared to face Doncic... They will laugh at Anthony "street clothes" Davis.
If he will ever play again a PO game of course.
