That's exactly what I'm thinking. I think Nico looked at that supermax as an anchor that would sink them 2-3 years in. It's definitely going to be interesting to see how this all unfolds. He's either going to look like a goat or a genius.

Its hard for me to imagine that AD and Kyrie in their mid 30s (and god forbid KD at near 40) with their injury history and massive contracts wont be at least as big an anchor.  Its not like we can sell them off for picks and tank as we don't control any of our picks, and they will have all of the leverage on their next contracts.
