Luka Dealt to Lakers: Nico Harrison is a Basketball Terrorist

How could the trade make Dallas better?  First, AD would need to raise his 3pt game tremendously, or Lively would, and become a stretch player. There’s no championship to be won without playing 4 guys on the floor who can knock down a three. 

Second, Christie needs to stay an efficient 15 point per game player, maybe a little better even. The Lakers have sort of already completed their rebuild. They just need their new center to be as good as they think he is. They have a good mix of players, can keep 4 shooters on the floor, and have been playing better since AD went out with more spacing in the offense.

AD 3pt % is a serious concern at the 4. 

Yeah the favor Nico did for the Lakers leaving them asset rich enough to do what they've done just smears the positive aspects of getting AD Max. 1 pick?  No Reaves or Knecht?  No bidding?  
I'm going to have a hard time watching the Lakers win even though Luka is fun to watch. 

If Nico had done this the normal way with bidding war for the services of this great player, then he never would have received the amount of hate he is now receiving.  That part of the trade was unprecedented And leaves fans feeling betrayed competitively vs LA and without without any chance to prepare themselves for the possibility of the trade. 

You don't do this with your buddy in a coffee shop 1v1 as if there isn't literally millions of other people severely invested or affected in DFW, Slovenia and elsewhere. It's hubris. 
Reminds me of LeBron players pick super team Era. 
Millionaire players just created their own pickup squad and tell the fans of all the cities to just suck it up, pay and watch.  The NBA had to address that with CBA modifications.
