To be fair the Mavs have a pick EVERY year in the draft, except for possibly 2027, which is only top-2 protected.

They only have 3 tradable firsts, and yes they have made some swaps, but they still have a pick in the draft.

I’m talking about a pick that will turn the fortunes of a 20 win team around. The Mavs are going to be so bad in 2027-2030, a threat to win the lottery every year. They’re going to make a lot of other teams happy.
