Maybe it is just old me, but almost every sports podcast has a bet ad read now. I mean, talking about the lines is fun, but I thin we are way ahead of our skis. Although, I imagine it is pretty damaging to young people (especially boys) in their 20's. I am sure many are addicted. I fear for the consequences.
I see ads and articles about how to bet this or that game for almost every event and I wonder if anyone still just enjoys the games for the competition. Are out collective attention spans getting so shortened that we can't stay engaged for a couple hours to watch a game? Seems like now it's all about the highlight tapes and who covered what spread.
