Honestly can see why Nico would like this dude. Doing a bit of a deep dive, he played at Oregon State for 2 years. His 2nd year he averaged 11ppg 5rpg and 3.5bpg. Went undrafted in the 2020 draft but was given an Exhibit 10 training camp deal by the Spurs. Waived by them but picked up by their G-League team where he barely played. 

He then left the G-League entirely and played in London for a year for the 21-22 season. Seemed to have developed a lot there, but was only given a deal by the Raptors 905 G-League team for the 22-23 season. He doubled his production in about the same minutes and showed he was an improved player. He subsequently got a summer league+Exhibit 10 deal by Boston, but again was waived and given a spot on Boston's G-League team for the 23-24 season. There, he really established himself in the G-League and had posted career highs across the board. 

This summer the Lakers gave him an Exhibit 10 deal. YET AGAIN, Kelley was waived and given a spot on the Lakers G-League team and here we are. This year, Kelley again improved scoring wise.
