Definitely. I can’t help feeling this is one of those “he’s worth more to us than he is to you,” situations though. Unless they really want to get off his $ for next season, which would make sense. That contract is only going to become more valuable as it gets closer to expiring though. Seems like we need to keep some medium sized contracts around to include with Gafford if a bigger deal comes our way this summer.
