To try to be more clear about what I'm saying...

Toronto is bad and has no cap space this summer.  Would it be worth their while to take a first from us and Maxi/Powell for Kelly Olynyk.  All three players are set to expire in 2026, so it is financially a wash in terms of years.  Olynyk does what we want Maxi and Powell to do (in one body instead of two) and does it better than either of them.  And, Maxi/Powell at $15mm minus Olynyk's $12.8mm leaves $2.2mm to sign (or take back in trade) a full season minimum if that were necessary.

I like the concept, but Olynyk is not the guy I would be targeting for a move like this.  He may provide what we want from Maxi on offense, but I don't think he does on the other end.  He is also about to turn 34 and has played 40 out of a possible 117 games these last two seasons.  I realize its (hopefully) a crappy first and part of its value is getting off Maxi contract, but I greatly prefer a move like this to be for a younger player that I have some confidence can actually get on the court.
