His playoffs stats are bad, because he cannot shot so far to save his life. He is a 34 % career 3 pt shooter in the regular season. And a 32.5 % in the playoffs. Last 4 playoffs he is shooting 40 % from the field & low 30 % from 3.
Anti Exum is crazy. Exum is a better defender imo. Schröder is trying on defense, but he also has exactly same height as me. Thats tiny for a NBA player. D-Lebron had him as the 2nd worst defender on the Nets. Season D-EPM is solid, at +0.5. He is a decent playmaker and a great driver with a godly first step, but if he cannot shoot in the playoffs, teams will just expose that.
Fiba basketball is a different style of a basketball with a shorter 3 pt line, can't even compare to NBA. Fiba Dennis is like 3 tiers above NBA Dennis imo
Thanks for your reply and your thoughts!
To make things clear, the „Anti-Exum“ was strictly for rising up and diminishing in the playoffs when the going gets tough. You posted the shooting percentages, but Schröder definitely isn’t scared of big moments - he embraces them like with the national team.
Sure he has to show that his improvement from three in percentage and volume is sustainable over the whole season first, but the Warriors got him basically for free, that sucks.
