Game 25: Dallas Mavericks (16-8) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (18-5) | 8:30pm CST

I was so concerned that I started scouting the league for our “SGA stopper,” since, let’s be honest, The West goes through OKC for the foreseeable future. And ironically three of the best SGA stoppers reside on OKC already. And we traded one of them on draft night to OKC. Cason Wallace was who I was hoping we would pick on draft night. That said I wouldn’t change a thing and love D-Live and he is/was the greater need.

If I’m Nico I’m inquiring about every every top tier wing that may or may not be available. Herb Jones as mentioned in another friend is top of the list!

If I’m Kidd I want to find out of these next few months exactly what I have in OMax. Jalen Williams is no slouch and OMax sniffed him out twice on drives left with relative ease. I would have Omax guard the opposing teams best player in every game the rest of the way for at least 5-10 minutes per game to see what we really have in him. He has to learn tendencies of offensive players and earn the refs respect and whistle. To a lesser extent I would want to establish Grimes in the best position possible for his success. It may include the difficult discussion involving bringing Klay off the bench at some point. Grimes may be one of those guys that can only thrive as a starter with a clearly defined role.
