I would not trade for Butler, if I was Houston. Butler is 35 years old, averaging 19/5/5, making nearly $50M and you´d have to trade at least three players to get him.
Look at the standings. It´s all young stars/teams at the top. Luckily the Mavs have no logical ways to get into this mess.
