The heroics by Hardy in the 2nd quarter and Dinwiddie in the 3rd quarter were what enabled Kyrie to have a game to play for in the 4th quarter.

People are overcritical of Hardy, cause his mistakes look really ugly, but always overlook the good. He was 6-11 from 2pt range in this game. He had a team high seven FT attempts. Hardy also had a team high three steals.

I´d also like him to clean up some of his horrible mistakes, but you know how he can do that as a young player? He can become Josh Green. Stand in the corner and take two shots per game.

I understand your point, especially the part about Josh Green. I just don't know that it's fair to say Hardy deserves much more time, at this point. I agree that the flashes of talent are there to see, plainly, and I'm still pulling for him. Maybe it's a little too early to say this, even, but piggy-backing off of your point, maybe creeping juuuuust a little more into that Josh Green mentality might be a good thing for him. Nobody wants him to stand in the corner and take two shots, but limiting the moves he tries in games for a while, just until he masters them, might not be the end of the world. He's one of the more prone to over-driving players I've ever seen. He's got so many moves and counter moves, but it feels like he's guessing how deep into his bag he'll need to go BEFORE the play starts, rather than reacting to how the defense plays him. When he guesses right, it's magical, but when he doesn't he looks inept.
