Grimes needs to spot up in the corner on offense. He brought the ball up the court on several possessions because there's no backup PG.  Because of that, he looked all out of sorts.  He's a 3 and D guy only IMO.

He is a little more than that (at least compared to our historical 3&D guys).  He is a movement shooter and can score a little bit outside of that, but I agree you don't want him trying to initiate anything.  Kidd has a habit of putting guys in positions out of their comfort zones to test limits (kind of the opposite of Rick).  It can be painful to watch sometimes, but its probably better for the player in the long run.
