Also after this game, I am even more confused why the kept AJ Lawson. After 2 seasons they've gotten a pretty good look at him and he hasn't really showed out.

They give him the last 2 way spot and only play him 7 minutes this game and put Powell over him?

Not sure what they're thinking. Especially since Gortman and heck even Sharp look like more interesting adds at that 2-way slot.

Clearly retaing Lawson wasn't the plan all along, otherwise Kidd wouldn't have made those comments. Question now is if this means he's locked in for that spot or if he still might be cut at the end.
