Yeah, I don't think the Mavs would be a team interested.  Just trying to see where a pretty good player could wind up.

The bad teams just can't give up an unprotected pick in the next two drafts.  They just can't.   It is fair for Portland to want a good pick or two imo.

I am not sure where the pretty good teams would fit.   Orlando feels like a real good option.  I don't think they are still with their moves and all their bodies.   Miami?   Seems like a lateral move with Herro.  I would like the fit in Toronto, but they can't give up a unprotected first and paid a lot of people recently.

I think my favorite is the spurs.  He would fit in really well there.   Just not sure I would give up one of their best pick assets if I was the Spurs.

Orlando seems like a team with an obvious role and need. They also have enough assets to make it make sense. 

Say: Simons+Robert Williams III for Cole Anthony+WCJr+Gary Harris+3 2nds+1 FRP pick swap+1 FRP.

They can even add Jett Howard instead of Harris (but are 400k off from a legal trade).
